Scriptural basis of how we are to view one another who believe in Christ.
Matthew 12:48-50 (KJV): Jesus stated, "For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother".
Romans 8:15-17 (KJV): Paul explained that believers receive the "Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father," and are made "heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ".
Hebrews 2:11 (KJV): It is stated that "both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren". This signifies a close, familial relationship between Christ and believers.
Galatians 3:26-29 (KJV): Paul further emphasized this by saying, "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise".
Being a "brother in Christ" signifies a deep, spiritual family bond based on a shared faith in Jesus, adoption into God's family, and a commitment to doing God's will. This bond transcends earthly distinctions like ethnicity, social standing, or gender.
